Thank you so much for the hard work you do with this podcast. I wasn't part of the IBLP cult, but I am queer and raised in a Southern Baptist church. Some of the teachings of Bill Gothard filtered into our church and in Awanas. I'm currently working out my religious trauma. Your podcast helps me see the light at the end of the tunnel of this process. Most days, I feel so broken and like I've wasted so much of my life with these hurtful ideals. But, hearing how much you've been able to heal, I feel like I have a chance to get better. I hope you have an amazing day!
